Biagio (Rocco Papaleo) is a guide who accepts the unusual task of accompanying four female inmates on a reward outing in the Pollino National Park. They are Samanta (Claudia Pandolfi), beautiful and bold; Gudrun (Teresa Saponangelo), Italian-Norwegian; Fiammetta (Livia Ferri), a former rising star of the independent music scene; and Anny (Rosanna Sparapano), a brilliant hacker. Joining them is also Raffaella (Vanessa Scalera), an actress in crisis, searching for a new opportunity.
What should have been a simple trip into nature soon turns into a much deeper journey. The symbolic destination is the majestic Bosnian pine, a centuries-old tree that dominates the Pollino massif and embodies resilience. But the real journey is an inner one: through कठिन climbs and harsh yet magnificent landscapes, fragments of lives marked by mistakes, wounds, and unspoken desires begin to emerge.
