CIVIC RECOGNITION AWARDED TO PROF. AGOSTINO DI LUSTRO: “THE VALUE OF MEMORY, THE LEGACY OF RESEARCH”

The Municipal Administration of Forio will confer the Civic Recognition of the Municipality of Forio upon Prof. Agostino Di Lustro, a scholar, researcher, educator, and public historian who, through his tireless commitment, has made an extraordinary contribution to the knowledge, preservation, and promotion of the history, culture, faith, and identity of our community and the entire Island of Ischia.

The public award ceremony, entitled “The Value of Memory, the Legacy of Research,” will take place on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 9:00 p.m. in the forecourt of the Archconfraternity of Santa Maria Visitapoveri.

This event will be a moment of collective appreciation and gratitude dedicated to a figure who has safeguarded and passed on the historical and cultural heritage of our territory to future generations, serving as a true example of dedication, passion, and love for the community.
