HOMAGE TO VISCONTI – REDISCOVERED FRAGMENTS OF LIGHT AND COLOUR

Villa La Colombaia is preparing to host another event celebrating art and culture with the opening of an exhibition by Ilde Maurizi, paying tribute to the great film director Luchino Visconti through the language of light, colour and emotion.

Under the artistic coordination of Lucia Lombardi, the exhibition offers a journey through fragments, shapes and evocative colour palettes, creating an ideal dialogue with the memory and history of one of the places most closely associated with the Maestro’s life.

The initiative takes on particular significance in 2026, the year marking the 120th anniversary of Luchino Visconti’s birth and the 50th anniversary of his death, further strengthening the bond between Forio, art and the director’s extraordinary cultural legacy.

The exhibition will be open to visitors until 2 November 2026.
