An event that brings together the power of literature and a commitment to social awareness. On Sunday, July 5, at 7:30 PM, the Council Hall of the Municipality of Forio will host the presentation of Twenty Times Life (Venti Volte Vita), a book by ultrasound specialist Dr. Enrico Antonio Errico.
The event aims to offer the public an opportunity for reflection that goes beyond literature. Through storytelling and the sharing of personal experiences, the evening will also focus on raising awareness about the importance of breast cancer prevention and supporting the initiatives promoted by Komen Italia.
Adding a special touch to the event will be acclaimed actress Lucianna De Falco, who will perform selected readings from the book, transforming the presentation into an emotional journey of words, experiences, and reflection. Her interpretation will bring the author's message to life, offering the audience a powerful and engaging perspective.
The discussion will be moderated by attorney Maria Anna Verde, who will lead the conversation with the guests and the audience on topics including health, prevention, and the importance of solidarity.
The event also has a charitable purpose. Proceeds from the sale of the book will support the projects of Komen Italia, an organization that has long been dedicated to promoting breast cancer prevention, research, and assistance for women affected by the disease.
The presentation also serves as a lead-up to the Race for the Cure Naples 2026, the major event dedicated to women's health, scheduled for October 9–11, 2026. Beginning in Forio, this initiative seeks to strengthen the culture of prevention by bringing together citizens, institutions, and associations around a shared message of awareness, participation, and responsibility.
Blending culture, civic engagement, and solidarity, the presentation of Twenty Times Life offers an opportunity to highlight how knowledge and awareness can become essential tools in protecting health.
