In Forio, the largest of the six towns on the island of Ischia, along the town’s main street, the sacred reenactment known as “The Angel’s Run” takes place on Easter Sunday morning. The event is organized by the ancient Archconfraternity of Santa Maria Visitapoveri, headquartered in the church of the same name at Piazza Municipio.
