On the occasion of the celebrations in honor of St. Anthony Abbot in Ischia, on Sunday, January 18 at 8:00 p.m., in the parish church dedicated to him in Ischia, Gaetano Maschio presents the recital ACCENTS AND MELODIES: encounters with dialect, from interpreter to author, with the participation of soprano Filomena Piro. In this recital, Gaetano Maschio proposes an intense and personal path that explores the relationship between language, identity, and artistic expression. The artistic concept arises from the meeting of interpretation and writing, telling how dialect, once a sonic and emotional substance, has over time become a creative and narrative tool.
